WORK COMMITTEES

Work Group 2: Educational Innovation Material
This work group undertakes to:
  • Set the guidelines and participate in the creation of a basic first copy of didactic material aimed at teaching staff in which details will be given as to the most important aspects of a classroom project which is contemplated by the school curriculum at the time of educating the pupils as consumers. The didactic material must be innovatory, laying down clear relationship with the changing level of the pupils (from 3-18 years) , their socio-cultural peculiarities and the most important themes ( which must coincide at the time of its development with the ends laid down in education and consumer policy in the EU). The proposal will seek to approach the grand lines of contents and especially the strategies and didactic scenarios most appropriate for forming consumers who are aware, critical, socially-committed, capable of assuming their responsibilities and defending their rights.
  • Establish strategies which guarantee that the didactic material contributes to the true development of transversal policies (see point 7)and guarantees that its values are respected without incurring errors in this field
  • Set guidelines to make it possible for the active participation of teaching staff enrolled in the NETWORK in the creation of material, its piloting in the classroom and its assessment.
  • Set guidelines and participate in the development of an interactive CD-ROM which accompanies and complements the didactic material.
